2. Data recorded for each message
- The message text and the recipient’s phone number;
- the sender’s IP address and, where available, the associated country;
- a device identifier (cookie) and a technical browser fingerprint, computed locally in your browser;
- the browser user-agent;
- payment information sent by NOWPayments (transaction ID, amounts, status). We never have access to your keys or your wallet.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Performing the order (sending the text, tracking, payment): performance of the contract.
Fighting abuse, fraud and harassment, handling reports and requests from authorities: legitimate interest and legal obligations.
Bookkeeping: legal obligation.
4. Retention period
The sender’s IP address, the recipient’s number, the message text and technical device information are kept for 12 months, then anonymised.
Payment data required for bookkeeping (date, amount, transaction ID) is kept for the legally required period.
Numbers on the opt-out (STOP) list are kept for as long as the opt-out applies, in order to honour it.
5. Recipients
NOWPayments (payment), Telnyx (text delivery), Cloudflare (Turnstile anti-bot protection) and our hosting provider: [to be completed]. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by law (standard contractual clauses).

6. Cookies
We use no advertising cookies and no audience measurement tools. Only technical cookies are set: session, chosen language and a device identifier used exclusively for fraud prevention.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, within the limits provided by law (in particular where the data is needed to fight abuse or to meet a legal obligation). Recipients of a text can refuse any further texts at any time at smsevent.online/stop.
